Our mission was to create a contemporary version of the ubiquitous Paris Street Bench—an easy-to-deploy kit of parts that strikes an elegant and memorable silhouette. This bench is not just a “public works” piece—it will be the centerpiece of a cohesive, versatile system of outdoor elements perfect for a park, a street, a plaza, or any public space.Loop is unapologetic in its simplicity, yet has a memorable form. It makes efficient use of material and is easy to deploy. it is even easier to repair and replace.

The Loop Collection exemplifies the best features of its Parisian cousin.
It has a memorable silhouette and is easy to manufacture, deploy, and maintain. Loop goes a step further. It has limited SKUS but unlimited potential with an extended kit of parts and color options. With an accompanying bike rack, path lights and refuse bins, the collection
provides a cohesive system for public space.

My role as project director included supporting our studio director in the concept design, assisting with the storytelling and presentation, the visualization, and direction/feedback to the junior designer.
